Dr. Anthony Fabio will give an oral presentation entitled “Reports on the association between alcohol outlet density and violence are unstable: Walking a straight line” which will review the conflicting evidence that changes in alcohol outlet density lead to changes in violent crime and discuss his own results examining the association between changes in alcohol outlet density and violence in Pittsburgh neighborhoods over time.
